BOSTON-BASED UNO'S AND THE WEEI SPORTS RADIO NETWORK GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO SUPPORT THE TROOPSMay 16, 2011
Customers who give military "shout outs" May 16-19 at select Uno's could win a chance to watch batting practice and visit the WEEI broadcast booth on Memorial Day, May 30th
BOSTON, MASS., May 16, 2011 - As part of its tribute to all U.S. military men and women for Armed Forces Week, and in partnership with WEEI-AM, Boston-based UNO (www.unos.com), the casual dining restaurant with a focus on both indulgent and delicious and nutritious dining options, is giving local customers an extra incentive to thank service men and women.
At specific locations May 16-19, any customer who participates in special video "shout outs" to the military will be entered into a drawing to watch batting practice, and a pre-game visit to the WEEI broadcast booth with Dave O'Brien and Joe Castiglione. The winner will also receive a once in a lifetime chance to introduce part of the line up before an inning and give their personal shout out to our troops.
Uno's created this special sponsorship in conjunction with WEEI because of Uno's long-time support of the military.
In fact, this promotion is part of its Armed Forces Week salute to the troops this week during which all military - active and retired - receives 15% off their entire food bill at Uno's location May 16-19.
All videos taped for the contest will be hosted on Uno's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UnoChicagoGrill) and on WEEI.com/salute.
Tapings will take place during dinner at one location each of the four nights of the promotion:
- 5/16, 5-7pm: Kenmore Square
