Senior Vice President - New Concept Development
With over thirty years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Jamie joined Uno Chicago Grill as the Senior Vice President of New Concepts. In this role, he has taken the helm for leading the growth of the new Uno Due Go and Uno Express brands. Both concepts are unique to the marketplace and feature sophisticated, bountiful arrays of Uno branded products.
Jamie's prior restaurant experience includes the role of Chief Operating Officer for Border Café/ Jose Tejas Company. Before that, Jamie was the Chief Operating Officer of Not Your Average Joe's; an upscale restaurant chain based in Massachusetts. Strobino strategically grew this private company from 2 to 14 locations during his tenure, leading the concept to national recognition.
Prior to that, Strobino spent ten years with Hard Rock Café. Excelling in roles ranging from multiple unit operations to artifact selection and management, he grew into the position of Vice President of International Operations. During his time there, Jamie played a key role in over 40 restaurant openings; here and overseas.
Jamie has served on the board of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association Hospitality Institute, has spoken at the Restaurant Hospitalities Concepts' of Tomorrow Conference, Nation's Restaurant News Hot Concepts, Restaurant Trends Conference and the Massachusetts Association of School Nutritionists.
Jamie resides with his wife Colleen and their two children in Scituate, Massachusetts where he is Chairman of the School Committee.
