Uno® Dresses for Success
Nutritional Information Centers Tout Healthiest Restaurant Moniker
BOSTON, MA (June 20, 2008) - Uno Chicago Grill®, recently named America's healthiest chain restaurant by Health magazine,
has dressed its Nutrition Information Centers to strongly tout the chain's nutritional transparency and healthy menu options.
Nutrition Information Centers can be found in the lobbies of restaurants, and provide transparency by detailing ingredients,
fat and sodium contents, as well as calories and fiber for every item. For guest safety and convenience, they also clearly
identify ingredients that are linked to the most common food allergies, such as fish/shellfish, soy, tree nuts/peanuts, egg, milk, and wheat/gluten.
Health magazine, one of the country's foremost publications on improving health, honored Uno Chicago Grill with the number-one
spot on its new list, "America's Healthiest Chain Restaurants." After reviewing 43 restaurants with more than 75 locations nationwide,
the magazine's team of nutrition experts, dieticians, and food editors, gave the top spot to Uno Chicago Grill. Editors cited the
company's efforts to eliminate artificial trans fats and feature items such as flatbread pizzas, a wide selection of grilled entrees,
as well as brown rice, multi-grain pasta, shade-grown, pesticide-free coffee, and organic teas among several other highlights in making their determination.
