NEW UNO CHICAGO GRILL OPENS IN TILTON
New Uno to Feature Curbside Delivery, Low-Carbohydrate
Options
and School Partners Program
Boston (April 16, 2004) –
Uno Restaurant Holdings Corp., announces the opening of
its seventh Uno Chicago Grill restaurant in New Hampshire.
The new Uno Chicago Grill is located at 122 Laconia Road
and convenient to the Lake Region Factory Store Outlets.
The store will officially open for business on Monday, April
19, 2004. The hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday,
11:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
"We are looking forward to being a part of the Tilton
community and are excited to open another Uno Chicago Grill
in New Hampshire," said Uno President and Chief Operating
Officer Paul MacPhail. "We continue to add innovative,
high-quality items to our grill menu, and our Tilton customers
will soon know and love our famous Chicago-style deep dish
pizza."
The newly built Uno Chicago Grill is 5,700 square feet,
seats 182 guests and will open with 120 employees. The restaurant
will look and feel like an old Chicago warehouse, with Windy
City memorabilia decorating the walls and mahogany trim
throughout the bar. In addition to serving a full menu including
new low-carbohydrate options, curbside delivery service
will be available.
To further their involvement and commitment to the Tilton
community, the new restaurant will offer Uno’s School
Partner Program. The program includes several educational
events, like free Pizza Maker Parties and fundraising opportunities
for local schools and community organizations.
The new Uno will be run by General Manager Scott England.
With 18 years of restaurant experience, Scott is a veteran
to the industry and has been with Uno Chicago Grill for
one and a half years. "Uno Chicago Grill provides a
high quality casual dining experience and offers the best
food around," said Scott England. "In addition,
we believe that the convenience of curbside delivery will
be big hit with Tilton-area guests."
In 2003, the restaurant known for its Chicago Original
Deep Dish Pizza™ evolved its name from Pizzeria Uno
to Uno Chicago Grill to reflect the variety of its menu.
Today, Uno Chicago Grill has the same great pizza, but also
offers a complete casual dining menu, including ribs, seafood,
juicy burgers and steaks, innovative pasta dishes, scrumptious
appetizers, low-carbohydrate alternatives and desserts.
