He served as General Counsel of Minuteman Press International from 1993 to 1995 and as Corporate Counsel from 1983 to 1993. Mr. Herz was Director of Steering Committee of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Division (LADR) of the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Franchising as well as being an original member of the Corporate Counsel Division of the Forum. He has been a member of the Legal Legislative Committee of the International Franchise Association (IFA) and has been a lecturer at both IFA and ABA Forum Symposiums over the years. Mr. Herz participated in drafting the revised UFOC Guidelines as a member of the Industry Advisory Committee of the North American Securities Administration Association (NASAA). Mr. Herz received his J.D. from Ohio Northern University School of Law and his B.A. from Niagara University.
